God is so good to have brought you here to First UMC Harlingen.  Our Family Of Faith is a wonderful blend of all ages. I hope you feel at home when you are here and will invite others to worship with us. 

We offer many special times of worship during the year, including our Candlelight Communion on Christmas Eve, our Maundy Thursday, and our Living Last Supper.  What a joy it is to worship our God together!

Valley Praise

Valley Praise is a ministry of First United Methodist Church of Harlingen, TX.  When you come to worship you can expect a laid back and relaxed atmosphere where you can put everything aside and just worship.  Come in your jeans or shorts and leave all your problems at the door.  We encourage feeling of community and we extend that when you first enter the building.

journey preschool

We are currently taking new enrollments in all of our classes for children 18 months through 5 years old.  We  offer something for everyone’s  schedule from one day a week to five days a week. 

We are open from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm
with extended days available on
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday until 3:00 pm.
